IMC Conflict Resolution Group
The idea for this online space comes from the
resolve email list. The
resolve project came out of the
Help.IrcMeetingHowTo chat of Aug '02. We have agreed on this
statement of purpose.
Project Purpose:
- The proposed purpose of the list and therefore this topic is as follows:
"This list is for the development of conflict resolution guiding
principles as may be applicable to the indymedia network. Members of
this list may also respond off the list to requests for assistence.
No-one in the indymedia network has the ability or authority to censure
anyone else. As such it must be recognised that disputes can only be
addressed where a majority of those involved wish to reach an
agreement.
Specific disputes should only be cited on this list as part of an
initial request for assistance or to illustrate some point being made
about the network as a whole."
