Currently there is no formal policy - send an email to the main list and ask for the password. Generally, someone in the A-IMC collective will have to know you or have seen you physically (to verify you aren't a cyber-spook kinda thing).

::Proposed process for getting an ssh account :: - Someone establishes who they are on a list and in general makes themselves known by their work (either before joining AIM, or after. This can take any amount of time. As appropriate.) - Someone asks for access (on the main collective list) and explains why they need it. - If no one objects within a week then they get it. - Generally, someone in the A-IMC collective will also have to know you or have seen you physically (to verify you aren't a cyber-spook kinda thing).

There are currently no restrictions on passwords to the AIM workspace, however you will need permission from the rest of the group to join the ImcAotearoaGroup which has access to the few pages which are locked.
