Race and Gender in Indymedia

In the last four years, efforts to diversify U.S. and European IMC's have been largely unsuccessful. In a movement that values representing the most marginalized voices and working to end patriarchy and racism, it has been difficult for many IMC's to represent those values within their own collectives.

This workshop will utilize exercises from anti-oppression training, and give a space for women and people of color to voice concerns and also to collaborate with those in Indymedia that are working to change these problems.
