Imc Bristol CD Rom

I like the idea of having a 'documentary' record of the day, could it be done 'rough cut' on the day as a practical workshop? or would that be too time consuming?

Another thing that would be good would be to burn a load of Knoppix linux demonstation discs to give away.

OK I'm putting together a Morphix (like Knoppix) CD, with some video editing software on it. The packages aren't great, but avidemux and cinelerra look like they could be useful. It would be good if some of you guys could test my initial releases. Do you have any suggestions for other software that independent media types might find useful?

What's the situation with burning batches of CD's? Could we book someone to print a batch the day before the event?!

I suggested at the first media day meeting that a vid of the day could be made and have offered to do this. Can edit on the day if techical needs can be met. I would be happy to do this with anyone else who is interested.
