Todo list for the script that builds a kiosk:

Next release :

• make tor work with privoxy (done in the script in preparation).
• passing to the stable distribution and add deb http://mirror.noreply.org/pub/tor stable main in the /etc/apt/sources.list (done in the script in preparation).
• the script will download a tarball (with md5 check) with a default /home/indy configuration (with switchproxy installed, xfce an firefox well configured, etc...) and update ImcMarseilleBorneInternetPratique and make a documentation on howto create such a tarball.

Meduim term

• find a solution for the bug with timeoutd (contact the maintainer, find an alternative solution...). N.B. a new version is available in testing but is still bugged (X was killed).
• make a possibility to create automatically encrypted personal accounts.
• make the configuration of xfce scripted directly in /etc/.
• ask for people to read the script to see possible mistakes and security issues.
• contact the following people to be involved in the development:
  • irc : #print , #grepgrrl
  • mailing-lists : connect-fr , debian-user-fr , custom-debian, bloukblouk
• translate documents in english (suggested by lexi).

Far future

• making a customized debian cd remasterised to have a fully automated install.
