Digitales 2004, vrouwen en ICT

Het Brusselse ICT-opleidingscentrum voor vrouwen Interface3 organiseerde deze week voor de derde maal Digitales, waarbij gedurende 3 dagen workshops en fora georganiseerd werden en vooral vrouwelijke cursisten, ICT-professionals, cyberkunstenaaressen en media(h)ac(k)tivistes uit België {1} {2}, Nederland {1} {2}, Duitsland, Frankrijk {1} {2}, Spanje, Italië {1} {2} {3}, de VS en Canada elkaar konden ontmoeten. Dit unieke initatief gaf niet alleen de kans aan vrouwen die zich via een ICT-opleiding willen inschakelen op de arbeidsmarkt om kennis te maken met artiestes en activistes. Het was ook een fijne gelegenheid voor cyberactivistes om met elkaar in contact te treden en evaringen uit te wisselen. Bekijk de verslagen en reportages over Digitales op Indymedia België.

Digitales 2004, women in ICT

The Brussels ICT-trainingcenter for women Interface3 organised the third Digitales-days event this week. For three days workshops and forums were organised where (mostly) female trainees, ICT-professionals, cyberartistsen media(h)ac(k)tivists from Belgium {1} {2}, the Netherlands {1} {2}, Germany, France {1} {2}, Spain, Italy {1} {2} {3}, the US and Canada could meet eachother. This unique initiative didn't just give women in the ICT training program a chance to meet with female artists and activists. It was also a nice occasion for female cyberactivists to get in touch with each other and exchange experiences. Check out the reports about the whole event on Indymedia Belgium.
