• imc-oceania-conference:
  • coming: shayne, pabs, wowi, annah, and, claremarie (bux), finn (bux), halo (possibly/bux), more nzers, jong (pending sos funds/fundraisers). everyone else didn't say
  • organising: annah (july onwards), and (back a coupla months before sos, wants other ppl too), other melb peeps maybe, allan keen, but from perth
  • date/location suggestions: week after sos (sos is Melbourne - Jul 10-18, prefered by perth folks, nzers, and), anarcon04 (perth - january), TINA (newcastle in october - in addition to sos)
  • media circus: http://www.antimedia.net/mediacircus/2k1index.html. and seems to think it won't happen in 2004 (not enough time)

  • fundraisers: clare will start looking into one in nz soon, perth crew yet to do their first, will get one together before then tho

    • gonna be expensive for jong to come over for the conf
    • sos will cover a good chunk of the airfare ~AU$3200, fees

    • sos types contacted jong, hey replyed, not heard back yet

    • ppl from other oceania imcs could do some fundraising gigs, or one before/after/during sos
