this is a wiki site to gather ideas for what indymedia can do during the

G8 6.-8.7.2005 Gleneagles

1. Report back on what Indymedia Scotland has done so far

  • programme for actions/protest activities
  • programme for Indymedia Centre : indymedia activities
  • infrastructure that is in place
  • GrantApplications

2. Report from other indymedia(s) + indymedia UK of what they expect to be able to contribute

  • how many people are coming
  • when they are arriving
  • servers available and other tech resources
  • what skills they bring
  • Kids?? Dogs?? etc.

3. Preperation and workshops e.g.

  • an open access media centre (would be ideal if it was located in the convergence centre)
  • radio (so that activists out on the street can get update on actions and see where people are needed)
  • a daily print issue
