How to make imc centres work! ie how do people plug into imc? what do imc centres need to provide? It's easy to set up an imc centre to cater for existing imc media activists, but they need to work for the volunteer who walks in off the street. The knowledge is there - see UkNetworkMajorReports
Screenings and cultural stuff. In Dublin the imc hosted a week of screenings and exhibitions before the protests, but did this distract from the reporting? (same for ESF) For the G8 there should be several convergence / camping / alternative summit venues where these activities could run. How to find a balance?
Reporting - what kind of reporting do we want? How to improve the mechanical 'cold' timeline approach? How to encourage mass participation and as many people as possible to 'be the media'.
Technical / Format innovations and facilities - SMS, Phone blogging, Satellite, Counter conference reporting not just street action, other blog tools, Newswire aggregation etc
