Venue confirmed. Marquee ok for erection at back. More discussion needed on accommodation.
Still need fallback options for reserve venue - spaces are being contacted

Need to have meeting in scotland prior to convergence
Good to also have meetings in edinburgh and glasgow
CONTENT (much to be made available as info pack)
- Intro - aims of 2 days
- Introductions + ask what people want to get out of 2 days / what skills and kit people can bring / what they can help out with / what they think is important
- Presentations on different mobilisations / political context
- Protests planned and known locations
- Basic legal infos inc media related
- Basic indy introduction
- Indy so far for g8 reporting (venues / logistics / projects)
- Basic description of dispatch (confirming details etc) , reporting info flows
- Short presentations of other alt media plans
ISSUES
- Need to be clear what decision making powers the assembly has in advance
- Proposed to have list of 'fixed' points and 'moveable' recommendations
- Important to find the balance between info updates on what has been organised already by indy folks, and ensuring involvement and ownership by others.
- Need to be clear on what sort of main media centre is being organised - just for indy folks or for everyone - or split into areas.
