The 'Alert Box' for 'Upcoming Events' is located in the left column below the ((i)) and usually contains a text link to a website with more information and a link to a local IMC.

How to update the 'alert box' in the left column:

* go to admin.

* bottom left column: "edit include files"

* "alert.inc"

* edit, save, generate all new

It is helpful to have a proposal with:

* URL for information
* URL for local IMC where coverage will be
* an image -- which will need to look ok at 110 pixels wide (optional)
