I. 1 hour - MichiganIMC overall structure/process

1. 20 min - Regional reportbacks: independent media projects/IMC work in cities
2. 25 min - brainstorm: what do you want a statewide IMC to look like – on butcher paper
   • structure of the MI-IMC/city imc’s
   • how to do editorial stuff between the state and city imc’s
   • editors (either here or in next section)
   • what constitutes a city imc
   • working groups
   • staff?

3. 15 min - condense, propose, consensce

II. 50 min - the website(s): 1. 20 min - feedback on re-design 2. 15 min - editorial group: job desc. from current editorial group 3. 15 min - content: ∑ what people think of the current content ∑ what current content is missing ∑ how to get better content 4. 15 min – editorial policy: ∑ consense on editorial policy ∑ discussion: political orientation/larger issues of content in ed. policy

III. 50 min - Fundraising 1. 10 min - why fundraise: brainstorm on butcher paper 2. 30 min – how to fundraise and who will fundraise: brainstorm on butcher paper ∑ trip to UC-IMC ∑ the idea of formal (dues-paying) membership ∑ paying staff? 3. 20 min – condense, propose, consense
