Timetable
What are we going to do when? At what times will it start and end on each day?
On 15 September there was an
informal discussion in #uk about the weekend and it was agreed that starting the Saturday with a vision type session would make sense, see the log for more details.
Attending
Who can make it? Please add yourself to the list so that the number of computers, rooms and quantity of food and crash space etc can be sorted.
Number of computers - people should note if they have laptops, or should we just work on half(?) the people coming having a laptop ... ?
Practicalities
Getting there
Matilda is 5mins walk from the train and bus station, it's an old brick building with various banners hanging from it.
There is on street car parking near by, however you have to pay for this during the day on Saturday so people might want to move any cars to the other side of the inner ring road (basically 1/2 a mile south near Brammel Lane football ground) to aviod paying...
Accomodation
There is crash space at Matilda, bring sleeping bags and inflatable matresses if you have them and warm clothes just in case -- the building has no heating...
Food
The plan is to have a meal / snack available on Friday night and then 3 meals on Saturday and 2 on Sunday.
Connectivity
There is a wired and wireless internet access at Matilda and a wirless network in The Rutland.
Social facilities
There is
a party at Brambles on the Saturday night, after the pubs close (11:30pm ish).
The nearest pub is
The Rutland and it has a open access wirless network.
