Needs and Feature Requests

* A few more people would be great.

Unique Features

* - fully integrated internationalization for multi-language support. Easy to translate without knowing programming or even HTML.
* - full video integration. videos can be embedded and/or downloaded
* - images are resized automatically
* - comments can be disabled by the author or by the admins
* - registered users can edit their own content after publishing
* - multimple layers of access allow for more collaboration in moderation tasks
* - there is a group of people maintaining and developing it.

* Does not use Java
* Will use Pwiki for hits count once we figure out how to anonymise readers.
* Supports categorization into regions and media folders (eg. different folders for different events), features, breaking news, newswire, etc..
* Production of syndication.
* Powerful and rich admin/editor interface with features like the ability to change the event date of an article, multiple ways to search..
* Ability to edit some static site files such as CSS, html include files through a basic web based text editor.
* Supports tags to interact with so-called social media.
* Can upload from your fancy mobile phone.
* Can read a light version of the site on your mobile phone.
