Que pouvez-vous faire à partir de cette page ?
La Principale de Configuration vous permet de changer les réglages qui affectent l'intégralité d'Oscailt.
Par exemple, elle permet de spécifier dans quels répertoires de votre serveur les données d'Oscailt seront stockées. Elle permet de déterminer quels types de logs vous souhaitez collecter ainsi que de fixer les limites en volume d'octets et autres limites pour les fichiers pouvant être uploadés sur le site. Les réglages de cette page sont répartis en trois groupes.
Bien que certains de ces réglages soient possibles àpartir des modules de configuration individuelle des pages, ils sont intégrés ici pour s'assurer qu'aucun de ces modules se trouvant mal configuré ne puisse perturber l'intégrité du reste de l'installation.
Par exemple en fiant une valeur maximale pour les uploads dans cette page, vous prévenez qu'un administrateur puisse créer une page autorisant de charger fichiers plus volumineux. Si votre site comporte des parties administrées de manière autonome, cela peut être très utile.
D'autres options de sécurité sont disponibles sur cette page et qui vous permettent de déterminer si vous acceptez ou non que les visiteurs du site puissent intégrer du code html ou bbcode dans leurs contributions. Bien que ceci ne concerne que le module de publication (et que par conséquent cela doive logiquement être du ressort de la page de configuration du module de publication) cela mérite d'être spécifié comme réglage de niveau système du fait que ces options aient un potentiel important de nuisances pour la sécurité et qu'il faille, prévenir que des créateurs de nouveaux objets ne compromettent par un réglage la sécurité globale du site qui elle logiquement ressort de la décision de l'ensemble de ses administrateurs.

Section pour l'identification du Site
Cette section configure les informations de base d'identification de votre site. Ceci sert à la syndication RSS et dans la gestion même du site, notamment pour la génération correcte des liens et des rérences à ce site, comme pour créer les titres des pages.

Réglages des chemins de stockage des données sur le serveur
Ces commandes spécifient les répertoires de stockage utilisés par les fichiers attachés, les feuilles de style et les pages de cache. assurez-vous que ce répertoires aient des permissions d'écriture par l'utilisateur du serveur Apache et qu'ils sont accessibles depuis la racine de ce serveur.
Attachment Store File System Path

| The directories that oscailt will use to store private internal data in.
Ensure that these directories are writable by the user the apache process is running under, but they should not be publically accessible.

Object Index Storage
| Either enter sql if you want to store data object indices in the database or enter the path of the object index file relative to the web root.

Exported Objects File System Path
| The path to the directory where exported objects will be saved. This can be visible from your web-server if you want to publically share your data object configurations.(must have trailing slash)

Notification From Address
| The address from which all mail generated by this site will be sent. You must ensure that this address is allowed to send from your configured mailserver, and that if sending to a mailing list it is allowed post to it

IP Blocks and Bans
| Block and ban ip addresses and referers from accessing the site.

Banned IP addresses
| Enter IP addresses, one per line. Any users whose address matches these addresses will not be allowed to access the site at all.

| Enable Temporary recording of users who publish stories and comments on the site. This allows you to block abusers immediately.

IP Monitor Cache Size
| The number of ip addresses that will be stored. So, if you set this value to 20, oscailt will never store more than the last 20 ip addresses of publishers in the cache

Security Logging Level
| The level of security logging that you want. Set to 0 for no security logging, 1 for logging of malicious attempts to inject scripts into forms and 2 for logging of all tags and bad data.

Security IP Recording
| Do you want to log IP addresses to the security log. Set to 0 for no IP logging, 1 for logging of IP addresses with malicious attempts to inject scripts into forms and 2 for logging of all IP addresses with bad tags and bad data. This will only take effect (obviously) if the above setting includes logging of the events

Enable User Error Reporting
| The level of error reporting about internal errors that you want to be visible to users. Set to 0 for no error messages, 1 for a standard 'try back later message' and 2 for reporting of php and database error messages.
