Configuration

Below are the list of settings that the user can choose from for each configured data object of the Publisher Module module.

2	Description	A short description of this Publisher Module. - This will be added into the HTML meta tag for the page in question and is important for search engines, so use several specifically descriptive words that match the content of the object. This will also appear on the management screens for this site. 3	Image	An icon file associated with this Publisher Module. - This allows you to link to the Publisher Module with an image instead of a text string. Enter the name of a valid local file.	text	Optional Field. Plain Text Only.
Publisher Module Basic Information
4	Short Title	A short title that links to the publish page - A typical title would be "Publish" or "Submit". This title can be used as a link to the page	text	Mandatory Field. Plain Text Only.
5	Full Page title	The full title of the publish page - This is the full title as it will appear in the heading of the page itself.	text	Optional Field. Plain Text Only.
6	Publish Notice	Allows you to make a piece of html appear at the top of the publish page - Can be useful to insert temporary text or to advertise some important facts without interfering with the rest of the text. Normally it should be kept blank.	textarea	Optional Field. HTML / PHP input allowed.

Introductory Text

8	New Story introduction	The text that appears to introduce the user who is publishing a new story - A few details explaining what the site is about and what type of submissions are desired is a good idea.	textarea	Mandatory Field. HTML / PHP input allowed.

Publish Ticket Settings
Oscailt uses a ticketing system for publication. This allows you to set a certain amount of time in between any user publishing another story or comment
15	Publish block (minutes)	the time in minutes after publishing that a user will remain blocked - This allows you to set a minimum time limit in between publishing stories for each user.	select	Numeric Option between: 0 and 90
16	Publish Writing Time (minutes)	Time allowed for writing - After a certain amount of time, a user's publication ticket will expire - then they will need to get a new one. This allows you to specify how long they have to write their contribution.	select	Numeric Option between: 0 and 180

Notification Settings
Oscailt can generate notification emails every time the publish form is used - this allows you to specify which actions should generate notifications
19	Send Email Notifications for Updates?	Should all editor changes generate an email notification? - If you check this box, all edits of existing content will generate a notification email with the exception of hidden content	checkbox	On / Off

Content Limits for the basic content section
You can set a maximum size on the summary, contents and comment lengths that users are allowed to input with these settings. This must be less than the settings in the server configuration page or they will be ignored. Normally you can just leave all these values as 0 and use the default ones.

You can set various limits on what can be uploaded with this publish form. These must be less than the settings in the server configuration page or they will be ignored. Normally you can just leave all these values as 0 and use the default ones. It is only when you have a particular reason for setting a smaller limit on this publish form than on the rest of the site that these should be set
