Basic Search Module page - allows searching of archives

Configuration

Below are the list of settings that the user can choose from for each configured data object of the Search Module module.

Configurable Settings

1	Name	The Name of this Search Module. - This will also appear as the HTML title on top of the browser and will appear as part of the page title in search engine listings - keep it short and meaningful!	text	Mandatory Field. Plain Text Only.
2	Description	A short description of this Search Module. - This will be added into the HTML meta tag for the page in question and is important for search engines, so use several specifically descriptive words that match the content of the object. This will also appear on the management screens for this site. It is a good idea to give a brief description which will enable you to quickly identify which entries are which in lists of objects.	textarea	Mandatory Field. Plain Text Only.
Search Module Basic Information
3	Search Box Title	A short text string that will appear on top of search boxes. - This will also appear as the title on top of the search box	text	Mandatory Field. Plain Text Only.
4	Advanced Search Text	The text that will link to the full search page - This text will appear as a link to the full search page (suggestion: use advanced search)	text	Mandatory Field. Plain Text Only.
Search Box Settings
5	Text on Search Button	The text that will appear on the search button - This text will appear on the button that users must click to launch a search (suggestion: use Search)	text	Mandatory Field. Plain Text Only.
6	Default Input Text	The text that will be filled into the search box by default - This text will appear pre-filled in the text box (suggestion use "search indymedia")	text	Optional Field. Plain Text Only.
7	Left Hand Icon	The location of the graphics file that will appear to the left of the search title - A small icon that can appear to the left of the searchbox title	text	Optional Field. Plain Text Only.
8	Right Hand Icon	The location of the graphics file that will appear to the right of the search title on the search box - A small icon that can appear to the right of the searchbox title	text	Optional Field. Plain Text Only.
Button Replacement
9	Replace search button with image	Check the box if you want to use an image instead of the search box	checkbox	On / Off
10	Search button image	The path to the graphics file to use as a search button instead of the standard one - This allows you to replace the search button with a image	text	Optional Field. Plain Text Only.
Search Page Settings
11	Notice at top of page	Allows you to make a piece of html appear at the top of the event calendar - Can be useful to advertise important events	textarea	Optional Field. HTML / PHP input allowed.
12	Notice at bottom of page	Allows you to make a piece of html appear at the bottom of every page - Can be useful to advertise important events	textarea	Optional Field. HTML / PHP input allowed.
13	Page Layout	The Layout of the Newswire Page	reference	A reference to a data object of type page
14	Results Newswire	The Newswire Object which will show the results page	reference	A reference to a data object of type newswire
15	Results Gallery	The Gallery Object which will show the results page for image searches	reference	A reference to a data object of type gallery
Access Control for this Search Module
Protect this Search Module from unauthorised users and from being used in other sections of the site
16	Protected	Should This Search Module be hidden from the public? - Check this box if you want this Search Module to be only visible to editors on the site. This can be useful for keeping certain pages hidden from public view.	checkbox	On / Off
17	Shared?	Should This Search Module be available to add to menus etc on other sections of this site? - Shared Data Objects can be added to menus, lists, pages and so on throughout the site, no matter what section the page that includes them is from. Objects that are not shared are only available within the site section where they are owned.	checkbox	On / Off
