Welcome Address of the global translation mailinglist

Welcome to the translation@lists.indymedia.org mailing list!

This list is for people wishing to work on translation issues on indymedia sites. People on this list are developing the system by which translation team volunteers will translate things like Indymedia news or process documents. A TranslationTool was designed for the purpose of collaboration in and coordination of translation work. It's an open posting system free for every indymedia translator worldwide where people can request and take translations for indymedia. All topics concerning the development and organisation of the TranslationTool can be mailed to this list.

This list is not intended for the coordination of translations from one language to another. Please use the TranslationTool or language-specific mailinglists for this purpose.
