We each introduced ourselves briefly. And then suggested topics for discussion:

  • we mainly had presentations IMC Italy, IMC Belgium and IMC Poland experiences
  • Question: Did indymedia really have any effects on general society?
    • After hearing the responses, someone from Slovenia summarised this: "the positive effect was to be a hub"
• problems in how some indymedia groups are changing, becoming something like an NGO, professionalising

  • suggestion of having a "cost-sharing database" as in IMC Italy - people use the data base to pay different amounts according to how much, when they can, and by looking at the global database, people can judge what is fair
