Who can Post a Feature? FIRST DRAFT

Although anyone can propose features to the www-features or www-editoriales lists, it is necessary to have administrative access to www.indymedia.org to actually post a feature. Here is a Roll Call for those who have this access.

If you are a volunteer with a local indymedia site and you would like to obtain administrative access, please first join one of the features lists -- www-features or www-editoriales -- and get a feel for how it works. New admin accounts will be given to those who (1) are subscribed to one of these lists, and (2) are actively helping to build features.

Additionally, those requesting new accounts must provide a vouch from within the network that they are active and trustworthy.

Who do I ask for an admin account?

Those who have "superuser" access to the mir interface can create new user accounts. These individuals are subscribed to the www-tech list. After you have taken steps above, you can request an admin account by emailing the www-tech mailing list at www-tech at lists.indymedia.org.
