Marinduque IMC is established to serve the underprivileged, marginalized and disenfranchised sector of our local community in the province. We the Marinduque working group is determined to articulate local issues and concerns of our province and engage them until it reaches the global stage. We would be using our local language to voice out our concern and provide translation for others to participate with the discussion.
We are devoted to come up with extension programs to the communities and organize workshops and capacity-building trainings to allow our people to become the media. We abide to the principles of non-hierarchical, autonomous and consensus-based decision making. We also advocate the use of open-publishing technologies as the only means to make communication symmetrical and meaningful.
Like the Situationists and Autonomists, we would like to be realistic by demanding the impossible!
