MEETING TO LAUNCH INDYMEDIA SENEGAL

Date: Feb 19th, 2011

Venue: Boulangerie Fann Hock

Participation: Dakar LUG, Forming IMC Senegal, Hiphop Group Keur Gui, 2 delegates from IMC-Africa Convergence crew, some Human rights activists and independent journalists.

Decision: The group discussed the entire documentation on forming an IMC http://docs.indymedia.org/view/Local/NewImcMemoFr And had consensus that they agree with the IMC POU and Membership Criteria, as well as the mission.

And agreed that they wanted to form an IMC Senegal. Two people volunteered to serve as the tech team, and Robin Le bois was delegated to submit their new IMC application.

IMC Senegal bi-monthly public meetings.

Since then there have been an IMC Senegal meeting every two weeks, but because this wiki page and the list did not yet exists, IMC Senegal has not been keep record of their meeting.
