Outreach & IMC meeting day

# Agreed that outreach efforts should largely wait until the new website is up and running.
# Should we make some more leaflets for the London Anarchist Book Fair? General agreement, but ...
# There has been some talk of changing the day that we meet on (which is printed on the back of the leaflet.
# We currently say first Wednesday of the month, but this clashes with the Oxford Drupal Users Group. Several people want to go to both meetings.

# Could do a round up feature - if anybody's up for it. Nobody at the meeting confirmed they would do one.
# A possibly interested in doing work on NHS stories.

# The proposal was posted on the global process list on Saturday. Should hear back within a week.

Also had a look at an article - http://oximc.adelayde.net/node/58 is one that has everything (except video) on it.

# Things the site doesn't do
~ No ability to promote comments (to make them additions)
~ No thought given to how to migrate the old site into the new one

# Comments & discussion
~ Generally supportive of the new site
~ Would be good if the latest feature stayed sticky under the slideshow
~ Publish links should be more prominent and more button like
~ Should there be a list of category links on the home page? If so, where? (unresolved)
~ Aggregated IMC section shows hidden items - it shouldn't
ACTION - J to try and sort this out
~ Would be good to get video working
~ Should have links to UK IMCs more prominently than just the global list
~ Could the 'promote' feature be user controlled? Yes, but let's get a basic site up - we can add stuff later.
~ Let's aim for a November launch - doesn't have to be perfect, just good enough.
