Seattle IMC Community Technology Center

While many CTCs in Seattle are not being used to their full capacity, some have waiting lists. To reach and maintain adequate use rates, CTCs must demonstrate a willingness to make changes in program offerings, offer flexible operating hours, and pay specific attention to forms of outreach that target user populations will respond to.

Background

Funded in part by the Seattle Community Technology Program, the Seattle IMC provides training, hands-on workshops, and ongoing projects that help community residents produce and publish independent media. Our Internet access computers and video library are available to the public. Class participants and active members of the Seattle IMC have access to our media lab and the studioX Internet radio DJ booth.
