Contacting Sheffield Indymedia

Sheffield Indymedia does not have an office so you cannot get in touch via phone or mail. If you want to get in touch however there are still a range of options...

Email

Sheffield Indymedia can be privately contacted a sheffield@indymedia.org or publicly via imc-sheffield@lists.indymedia.org (everyone on our email discussion list will see your email and it will be stored in our archives where anyone can read it).

The general discussion list for all things concerning Sheffield IMC. Anyone is free to join this list or view the archives. Please note that this list has an open archive — if you want to be anonymous you will need to make sure that you email account is not publicly associated with you, the list also allows posts from non-members so you don't need to join it to post to it.

imc-sheffield-announce

For those who want to stay informed about Sheffield IMC events such as film nights, fundraisers, parties etc. This is a very low-volume list so don't worry about getting swamped with emails (no more than 1–2 emails per month).

imc-sheffield-contact

A private contact list for Sheffield IMC, it has no public archive but it is open for anyone to post to — if you want to get it touch and not have your email publically archived please post to the list using sheffield@indymedia.org.

We have a PO Box number (anyone know what it is) and you can use this for contacting Sheffield Indymedia by snail mail.

Meetings

Anyone is free to come to our meetings which generally happen on the second and fourth Monday evening of every month at the Drum (National Centre for Popular Music, opposite the Showroom, Paternoster Row). To check for the next meeting check the Sheffield IMC meetings page.

Events

We have held a number of different events such film nights, stalls, talks etc so come along to one of these if you want an informal chat. These are usually listed on our website or keep informed by joing our announcements list.
