Indymedia is based on donated work by individuals. It is not a 'professional' organisation. Our servers are pretty good but with events such as Genoa, and now the war in Afghanistan, we are often not able to immediately keep up with the demand. As a consequence, uploads may produce some weird errors such as that the software asks you to fill in the required fields like name/title etc again. In times of heavy demand uploads of large files such as video or audio might time out as well. If this happens, then please help us by not hitting the publish button a thousand times. It will be easier to publish your story anyway without uploading and send the file via email for us to upload it. If you do this then please include in the email the url under which your 'empty posting' has appeared. Send it to imc-uk-reports@lists.indymedia.org .
