contact independent and corporate media sources to inform them of our resources, and to keep their contact info up-to-date, for our use and on the website.
Local Indymedia Relations
(3 volunteers, 5-15 hours per week)
keep in contact with local cities,
encourage them to start their own IMCs
set up media access centres
provide workshops
facilitate the creation of print, audio, or video media.
NewsBlasts
(1 or 2 volunteers, 3 hours per week)
Collect information from indymedia news sources, and summarize into e-mails, either by topic or a variety of "hot topics" for the week, and broadcast, in order to generate interest in what we offer.
