Welcome to the Indymedia Documentation Project, where Independent Media Center volunteers work together on projects and documentation, concerning Indymedia. "Wiki" makes editing web pages very easy - you don't need to understand computer codes. %TWIKIWEB%.WelcomeGuest explains how to use this Wiki (or "TWiki") site.

This site is the place for:

• Process documents, Proposals, and Meeting summaries
• 'Best Practices' and General "How To" Guides
• Work in progress (agendas, web documents, revisions, ideas, refactored rants)
• Discussions and Discussion Summaries
• Anything else that helps our work

You are currently in the Main web, which holds information used for General, People and Group information.

To begin using wiki, locate the "Web" that interests you from the list below. Each web has a different side color (this web has gold), so you know where you are.

The main webs are:

• Global - Global This is a web-based collaboration area for Global Documents, Local Documents and Global Working Groups
• Local - Local Indymedia Centers and Regional Projects
• IMC-tech - The Tech group's pages, System Status, System Administration, Development, codebases, tools, listwork,IRC, dns, etc.
• Main - People and Groups
• Wiki Help - Help and Information about using this "TWiki" web software
• Sandbox - Test area for learning and experimentation. Try it!

If you can't find something, try searching the entire site by selecting the 'all webs' checkbox on the basic search form. Also, some local IMCs, like Aotearoa, use a dedicated web instead of the Local web.

To edit pages on this Wiki, you can register online, at %TWIKIWEB%.TWikiRegistration, or you can use the guest login provided there. Logging in is not needed for reading wiki pages.
