UK rsync and http://uk.indymedia.org/ redirect and port 8080 and 8081 active redirects have moved off ahimsa to chavez.indymedia.org.uk, see: ChavezInfo

As soon as there is a UK mirror running on integrity.indymedia.org then ahimsa can be removed from the UK's rr dns.

There is 1 active mirror hosted by the tachanka collective which can be considered sufficient for the time being, although in the longer term more should be set up. The rsyncs from the publish server (Traven) to this mirror are now fixed so that ahimsa is no longer required; a request can be sent to the dns group to remove the ahimsa mirror whenever jebba desires. -- 10 Dec 2006
